Ibec Trade and Export Workshop: Trading with a non-EU country

Senior representatives from the Revenue Commissioners will give an overview of existing customs rules and procedures that apply to trading with a non-EU country. For relevant businesses who wish to stay, the second half of the session will feature a presentation from the Department of Agriculture on how sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standard are managed with non-EU countries.  

 

The event is a unique opportunity to learn more about customs and trade procedures as the EU prepares for Brexit and negotiates more FTAs with third countries. The aim of the session is to help members understand the existing framework, which will contribute to their own Brexit contingency planning. The session will also look at the implications of transiting through a non-EU country. Following the presentations there will be ample opportunity for Q&A.
